Blaine & HazelHemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted

These two lovelies are to be homed together. They have been in the same foster home for a while now and get their confidence from each other. Blaine is a lovely tabby boy, 9.5yrs old, he came into CP as a long term stray and adjusted quite well. He is a very loving boy and loves a good lap to curl up on and to have a play, occasionally, but when you are around likes to just be with you. He does love company but is quite content to be on his own in the day. He is on the defensive on first meeting but after a while, when he finds you are not going to give up on him he will be happy to be in your company. His friend, Hazel, black and white, is 3.5 years of age. She also came into CP care as a young stray. She is still a very shy little girl and quiet; she is not ready for cuddles/strokes yet but that will come. She loves just having company around her. Again, she is on the defensive and takes a while to get used to new people. When she gets to know you she will relax in your company. She loves a good play when on her own and can be heard bouncing around after the toys in her room! Both love to look out of the window and listen to the radio. Their new owner would need to be prepared to give them all the time they need to get used to their new surroundings/owners; to give them lots of love and have the patience for them to come round in their own time – which they will. They both thrive on routine but these two cannot be rushed! They would be homed in an older family/mature family/single person environment; no children/other pets. They are primarily indoors cats and would be for a long time but eventually they may want to venture out into a secure garden. Are you that special person to give these two lovelies what they need in their forever home? Ref. JG
