PeppyHemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted

Peppy is approx. 8 years old; a torti but without attitude!! She has had it tough over the years and is now looking for her forever home where she can get lots of love. That special home where someone is happy to give her the time she needs while continuing her treatment. When she was handed over to CP she was diagnosed with diabetes. She is responding well to treatment, taking it all in her stride. She has 1 unit of insulin twice/day and needs a specific diet of dry/wet foods, which she eats willingly. Cats Protection is dedicated to supporting her new owner with help with her condition. She does have a habit of leaving her tongue stuck out and she will rub her head against you when food it about!! Unfortunately, Peppy has missed out on the play side of life so needs to find someone who is happy to help her to rediscover her inner ‘kitten’. Having said that, she loves curling up with her favourite catnip toy!! Due to her medical issue she does look a bit funny from the back and her walk is a bit wonky but hopefully that will change when she starts to put on more weight. She loves a good brush as she is a bit lazy in that department. She will be homed as an indoor cat in an environment which is not hectic and one where she has regular meal times and a steady routine. Her feeding needs to be controlled so no sharing!! She has a very calm demeanour and wouldn’t be phased to share her home with a calm cat/dog (slow introduction required). She is an all round lovely lady, who now just wants to have her own home where she can relax, have lots of love and cuddles. If you feel Peppy is the girl for you please ring CP today you won’t be disappointed. Ref. SP.
