Blaine & HazelHemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted

These two lovelies are to be homed together. They have been in the same foster home for a while now and get their confidence from each other so would be happier going as a pair. Blaine is a lovely tabby boy, he came into CP as a long term stray and adjusted quite well. He is a very loving boy and loves a good lap to curl up on and to have a play but when you are around tends to like to just be with you. He does love company but is quite content to be on his own for a while. He is on the defensive on first meeting but after a while if he finds you are not going to give up on him and you give strokes he will accept them. He is approx. 9 years of age. His friend, Hazel, black and white, is approx. 3.5 years of age. She also came into CP care as a young stray. She is still a very shy little girl and quiet; she is not ready for major cuddles/strokes but she loves the top of her head stroked for as long as you want when she has got used to you! She loves just having company around her. Again, as Blaine, she is on the defensive and takes a while to get used to new people. When she gets to know you she will relax in your company. She loves a good play when on her own and can be heard bouncing around after the toys in her room! Both love to look out of the window and watch the world go by and they love to listen to the radio. They do need someone who is happy to give them the love they need but have the patience to give them the time they also need to come around - these two cannot be rushed! They would be homed in an older family/mature family/single person environment; no children/other pets. They may eventually want to venture out into a secure garden BUT this could take a while for them to be ready/happy enough to go outside. |They would both be happy to be safe indoors. Ref. JG
