Are you looking for a cat or a kitten? Some very lucky cats we have already homed this year are now enjoying freedom and comfort in their new homes. However there are still many cats in need - please someone make our day and give these loving souls a chance!!
As cats are the most adaptable of animals they are not often a problem to settle in but they do need a few days to find their feet and work out the household routine. What could be better than to give a loving home to a cat!! It is a well known fact that stroking a cat is therapuetic - so calming and comforting in this uncertain age. Nice to be welcomed home by the cat!! The website is constantly updated so keep looking for your purrfect pet here!!
Yes? Then we would love to hear from you! What could be better than to GIVE a loving home to a cat!! The only thing I can think would be better is to give a home to TWO cats.
So, how does it works........
- First, just call Vanessa on 0845 371 1851 - leave a message with your details, where you live, and what you're looking for, and she will get back to you as soon as possible! (Please be patient when waiting for your call back - most of our volunteers work full time too, so phones can't be manned at all times) - or just email Vanessa. New cats come in all the time, so please call or email even if you can't see what you're looking for on these pages!
- Then we will arrange for a home visit.
- On a successful outcome from this visit you can come and choose from the cats available.
All Cats from the Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Branch have been:

Vet Checked on Admission - Blood tested
- Flea treated and Wormed
- Neutered (if old enough)
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
As we have to pay for all of the above we would like to suggest a minimum donation of £80 for each cat.
If you are unable to have a cat for any reason then why not sponsor a cat pen.
MekonBlack Male - approx 1-2 year old
Mekon is an adorable, affectionate cat. He has been found by a very nice lady who is looking after him but he really needs to find a permanent home.
He is really hoping for a loving family to give him the home and regular meals that he deserves,and in return he will offer a great deal of affection and love. It is imperative that he finds a welcoming home before the Winter arrives. Please help little Mekon.
